I learned how to do this when I was a waitress for a very popular steakhouse. Stolen!
Ingredients:
- 1 fresh broccoli head
- 1 tbl. butter
- Kosher salt
Directions:
- Rinse broccoli and cut broccoli into florets.
- Place florets in a microwave-safe bowl and season with kosher salt to taste.
- Add 1 tbl. butter to florets.
- Cover bowl with a plate and microwave on high for 4 minutes.
Pretty simple!
If you’re only making enough broccoli to serve one person, you can put a handful of the florets in a plastic baggie. If it’s a Ziplock bag, just don’t zip it up all the way. Eaaasssy and perfect for a lunch snack.
