I really loved this restaurant.  From the moment I walked in, I loved it. It’s sooo dark and intimate.  The service was outstanding.  I went with two other girls, and the entire time I was there, I was saying “this looks like a place I could have a rendezvous in!” The place was packed. Hearing the majority of the other guests talk to each other, I could tell that most of the other guests were “regulars”.  Everyone looked like they were having a very good time.  It reminded me of a very up-scale ‘Cheers’ 🙂   They don’t have menus and when you get there, one of the managers comes out and discusses what they have available for the day.  He said they always have at least two different kinds of steaks, different fish, crabs and other seafood.   We all started off with the Caesar salad, which they made at our table.  It was a very traditional Caesar salad. I thought it was really nice.  I had the beef bourguignon with mushrooms and a red wine reduction sauce.  It was very good.  My friend had the sautéed tilapia and  lump crab meat with sautéed mushrooms.  She loved it.  My other girlfriend had the chicken stuffed with baby spinach and muenster cheese with a sherry cream sauce.  She also loved her meal.  I tasted it, but thought the chicken was slightly overcooked, but the sherry sauce was fantastic.  Overall, I thought the food was good.  It wasn’t the best food I’ve ever eaten, but it was really good.   For dessert, I had the cheesecake and my two friends had the lava cake. They both agreed that the lava cake was completely average.  But everyone, including me, thought that the cheesecake was divine!  It was the best cheesecake I’ve eaten in a long, long time.   In combination with the amazing atmosphere and the wonderful service, I felt like I had to give this restaurant five stars.  I will definitely go back with my husband (or my boyfriend!)  lol Just kidding about the boyfriend!    They have valet parking, but self parking was easy and accessible, so that’s what we did.  The restaurant is in a shopping center, but it’s in good company…there are a couple of other $$$ and $$$$ restaurants in the same area.   When we left, the manager gave us all giftcards to come back. The service was exceptional.  This is a place that everyone should try at least once!  Honestly, if I had a ton of money, this is the type of restaurant I would like to live near and eat at every week or so.  I want to be a regular!
