I have to give this place 5 stars because the service is amazing and we have never been disappointed with our food. So one thing my friends and I have noticed is that we really like steak places that have a lot of different steak toppings or sauces. We want a cabernet reduction sauce or a béarnaise sauce or a cognac sauce or something!  And Mo’s is tailored to our tastes!  And we are also big on trying a ton of side-dishes, and Mo’s has soooo many.  It was hard to choose, but we managed to try the mashed potatoes (yum), the risotto (absolutely delicious), sautéed mushrooms (of course! and they were fantastic), and white cheddar macaroni and cheese (sooo good, but Shade’s is still my all-time favorite), and the sweet potatoes (I don’t like sweet potatoes, but everyone ate all of them, so they had to be good!)  The steaks have always been cooked perfectly every single time we’ve gone.  And my friend said the soup was to-die for. In fact, she ordered some to go.

The waiter sent us each a hand-written card thanking us for trying their restaurant the first time we went.  That brought us back in a second time…and he remembered us!  I have to say, this is the only restaurant we ever been back to during Houston Restaurant Week.  We try to hit up places we’ve never been before, but after the note, the exceptional service, and the fantastic food, we had to give it another whirl!

To make a long story short, this is a place you just have to try.  The cool thing about this restaurant is that it’s somehow upscale, cool, and casual all at the same time.  They have a nice little patio area too that a ton of people were hanging out in each time we went. They do have valet parking, but it was easy to self park, which is what I did.
